Looking for love

Is a wild goose chase

You may catch the goose

But love is hard to find

it’s just a ‘hi’

An a cute little smile

And you think this is something

for which you’d run a mile

you sweat and you mumble

at a loss of words to say

you just keep a straight face

and hope she doesn’t think you’re gay

it’s valentine’s day

and you think you’ll propose

and think again

it’s just the goose you’ve caught

because it’s as I say, don’t mind

diamonds are easy to come by
